Quick Protein Bites

Packed with iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc and omegas, these bites are serious sustainable energy. Vegan, gluten free and so easy - they take 10 minutes to make! Great to whip up or have on hand in a container for a healthy snack. Shown here with edible nasturtium from the garden and in a vintage Fidenza Italy canning jar.

1 C oats

1/2 c flax meal

1/4 c hemp seeds

1/4 c pumpkin seeds

1 T chia seeds

3/4 - 1 c almond butter

2 T maple syrup

Combine all organic ingredients in a bowl, stir and form into balls. Add almond butter as needed to help ingredients come together. That's it! Store in an airtight jar, serve or pack some for the day ahead.

HACK: Don't have all ingredients? These can be made with just oats, flax meal, almond butter, chia and maple. Or sub/add ingredients such as coconut or goji berries.
