❋ What to Expect

What The Coast Ridge Provides

The Coast Ridge leads the experiential foundation of Kenko Retreat.

Our role is to:

  • Guide teams through nature-immersive experiences that support clarity, regulation, and perspective

  • Hold the overall daily rhythm and container at Kenko Retreat

  • Prepare nutrient-rich, plant-forward meals designed to support sustained energy and focus

  • Facilitate yoga and meditation sessions that help participants arrive, integrate, and recover

Together, these elements create the conditions where clear thinking, natural connection, and creative insight can emerge—without forcing outcomes.

What We Intentionally Do Not Do

The Coast Ridge does not:

  • Lead keynote talks or lectures

  • Facilitate leadership frameworks or team-building exercises

  • Run therapy-style or vulnerability-driven sessions

This is by design.

Kenko Retreat works best when leaders are not being taught or managed, but supported by an environment that allows meaningful conversations and alignment to happen organically.

How Strategic Work Fits In

Each day includes dedicated afternoon space that can be used for:

  • Internal team meetings

  • Strategy conversations

  • Guest speakers or facilitators brought in by the team

This allows organizations to pair Kenko Retreat’s experiential container with precisely the kind of strategic or leadership work they need, without compromising the tone or flow of the experience.

How Teams Build Their Retreat— Teams may choose: Any combination of Days 1–4 to create a 2-, 3-, or 4-day retreat We provide guidance on sequencing and flow, while keeping the experience flexible and aligned with your team’s objectives.

Build Your Kenko Retreat Team Experience

Modular Day Experiences (2–4 Days)

Every experience is built from a curated set of four standalone days.
Teams select the days that best support their objectives to create a focused 2-, 3-, or 4-day experience.

Each day has a clear intention and outcome, while blending seamlessly into a cohesive experience —allowing your team to stay present, connected, and supported without the burden of planning.

This flexible structure makes it possible to prioritize clarity, alignment, or capacity—while we ensure the flow, logistics, and rhythm are handled with care.

  • How to Choose This Experience:

A Guide for Chiefs of Staff, Executive Assistants, and Planners. The Coast Ridge at Kenko Retreat is intentionally designed for a specific type of team and moment. This page is here to help you quickly assess fit—before you spend time planning.

  • This Space Is a Strong Fit If:

Your group is small and senior 8–10 participants Executive teams, founders, partners, or senior leadership People who already work closely together Small scale is essential. This experience is built for depth, not volume.

You want clarity and alignment—not a conference Kenko Retreat is not meeting-heavy or presentation-driven. It provides a structured daily rhythm that supports: Clear thinking Honest conversation Natural collaboration Many teams find their most productive moments happen during shared movement, meals, or informal time.

  • You want a private, contained environment. The retreat takes place in a private villa reserved exclusively for one team. There are no shared public spaces or outside groups—supporting discretion, trust, and focus.

You value structure without rigidity. Each day follows a clear flow, so logistics are handled in advance. At the same time: Activities are optional and adaptable. Physical intensity is progressive, not mandatory. Time is available for meetings or facilitation as needed. This works well for teams with mixed energy levels and working styles.

  • The Coast Ridge at Kenko Retreat Is Likely Not the Right Fit If:

Your group is larger than 8-10 people. You need AV-heavy setups or multiple breakout rooms. The retreat is primarily HR-led or training-focused. Participants expect hotel-style service or luxury signaling. Your agenda requires tightly scheduled, full-day meetings In those cases, a hotel or conference venue is likely a better option.

  • How Teams Typically Decide

Teams choose The Coast Ridge at Kenko Retreat when they want to:

Step out of daily demands without leaving Northern California.

Reconnect as a leadership group under real conditions.

Reduce noise and distraction rather than add programming.

Create space for clarity, alignment, and forward momentum.

If that reflects your goal, this retreat is likely a strong match.
